I had spent most of my time photographing the flood and the woods, the bridge was the last element. I liked the tension in the water and ice and selected the image because of the bridge reflection. I felt the other images had less audience appeal because they were simply ice, water and trees. In the end I felt I was dealing with 2 images and couldn't settle on one. |

I like all the details in each wall carvings. Combining the 2 images together adds to the impact. Nice combination. |

This is a very creative image. I like the subtle lighting on the birds and they fit so well with the background. Well done. |

The background is a wonderful transformation. The pose of your subject is interesting and the hands are positioned very effectively. |

This is a striking image of contrasts. The snow covered pond lacks any details so the context is not immediately known. I like the positioning of the cattail to convey the eye up. |

Nice image. The cats add a lot to the story. It reminds me of Matera Italy with its cave dwellings and cave hotels. Well done. |

Maybe you could have named your image 'Welcome Home'. It would certainly cause some speculation. I feel you've captured the opulence of the setting and the consistent tonal range very pleasing. Well done. |
