HI Gloria, we were further west than the CNE, and at the park at the foot of Islington Ave. There were around 8 photographers and I knew most of them. As the sun came up, the light was very intense and too bright to look thru the viewfinder.
It's funny you should ask who was there. Besides the SLR photographers there was a group of 5 people standing in front and below us. They took pics on their phone and had a harp, a guitar and a bottle of wine to celebrate the solstice. Here's a grab shot taken after the sun had passed the CN Tower. The harp is at the extreme right. |

I think your image is very timely. We need to celebrate women's accomplishments in science and this image brings forward a stark contrast of how much has changed and how history has been distorted. |

A great composition and an interesting angle. I would suggest cropping a bit of the bottom to reduce the amount of blue water. |

I love this interesting shot with the flag on someone's back and the maple leaf on the stairs. I need to point out we all don't say 'eh', but we do speak with a bit of an accent.
On July 1, our camera club opened a juried exhibition of photography to celebrate Canada's 150 birthday. Check it out at http://www.livingartscentre.ca/gallery/mississauga-camera-club-proud-to-be-canadian-our-stories

One of the benefits of being a photographer we can adjust your images to suit any whim or fantasy. I like the transformation of the building but for me the sky is not credible. Love the imagination. |
