Kit, that you can make such beautiful art out of dying flowers is one of the many reasons I admire your artistry. I like the close crop and the hint of the vase, it let's the flowers be the focus. You'll be sorely missed from this group. |

I like the perspective you've achieved with this image. The contrast of the wood with the feathery reeds is terrific and you're right, the cloudy sky gives us a lot to look at. |

I'm a sucker for this kind of architectural photography. The reflections let us see what isn't in the frame of these buildings. |

You know I am a huge fan of yours and love your dune images. This one, however, just doesn't work for me. I think, at least on my monitor is too dark. It's hard to see the ridges and patterns in the sand because of that. |

The conversion to b&w is quite successful in that the starkness of the tree really stands out and the sky is beautifully dramatic. I agree with Paul that keeping the tree off center provides better lead lines with the ridges in the earth and provides a better tension. |
