I wish I had known about this structure when I was Singapore. I think you did a great job of showing the structure in a unique way. The angle is great, giving us a glimpse through the openings as well as the texture of the structure itself. I like the crop and the sky is great. |

Paul, Sorry about your back but kudos to you for doing what you can and capturing wonderful images within your limits. I like this image very much. Even without you explanation, the stones in the image brought to mind gravestones so gave the image a sombre feel for me. I agree with David about the crop, I think getting rid of the heaviness at the bottom would enliven the image. Keep on truckin'! |

IR is a lot of fun, and I like this image. My first reaction was that the image needed a stronger anchor like having the tree trunk darker so it stands out. I do like the building in the background and you do convey the feeling of being overgrown. I do find that with IR it helps to have a either sharp contrast or distinct shapes. |

This image definitely has more impact as a monochrome, and especially with just a bit of tint. I agree that preserving the angle you took the shot is much more interesting than if it were straight across. Glad you're enjoying your new camera. My shoulder and back is much better since I switched to mirrorless. |
