Brian, thanks for the comments, the cropping from the bottom and the vignette helped a lot. |

Bollin, thanks for your comments. don't think it made much difference, but you are right, I should have not centered the bird. |

The B/W is a good choice for a stormy image. Did you get any good pictures of the eclipse? I didn't get any good ones.

Audrey, Thanks for putting in the diagram. This a peaceful, relaxing scene. Personally, I prefer the image you used as the different colors of the water gives more DOF. |

Wayne, thanks for your comments. Yes, I wanted to show some of the sky, and I like the shape of the "V". |

Kieu-Hanh, thanks for our comments. Yes, I put the flower on a stand for the photo shoot; and the wind knocked it down that night. I have a new phone/camera (Galaxy S24 Ultra) and am enjoying learning new ways to do things. |

Jack, thanks for your comments. I will try using the tree for a full B/G next time I have a flower blooming. |

Susan, thanks for your comments. I didn't think about using the tree only for the B/G. I will try that next time. |

Kieu-Hanh, Interesting photo. Sharp, great colors, the angle and using no boarders causes the image to seem to continue. |

Pat, this is a delightful image. Your idea of a clock is funny as when waiting in a exam room we do sometimes get impatient. This is sharp, with good lighting and shows a clean area. Great Job. |

Jack, I have to say that Kieu-Hanh said it all. The window frames suggest that the windows are curved; maybe that goes with the fancy setup. |

Susan, Your last crop is much better. Maybe you will get a chance to go back to this place and try using the raw sitting. I have trouble using that also. |
