86 Dec 23 Reply Steven, Thanks for your comments and I agree with them. The crape myrtle tree blooms in the spring and early summer; with clusters of blooms.(could not figure how to send a image of it in this message) I cropped this picture because I wanted the bright colors of late fall against that blue sky. Also, I didn't want the houses or the fence. the tree has had a hard year-no rain and very hot summer so its not looking its best. Reckon its because I still miss not being out in the wide open spaces. Dec 17th
