Thank you Allison!
We live in Loveland, North of Denver. We are near the foothills. In the fall the elk come down to this area. We don't have this, but in a neighborhood near us, there have been over 100 eating. We usually have 3 to 9 hanging around the neighborhood. They do come on our grass, jump our fence, and even bed down. It's amazing to have such entertainment and that we can watch from our windows. I opened my front door once to find one on my porch. We both were startled! T |

in color I can see the subjects. It seems abstract in B and W. I guess it depends on what you are going for. Either work for me!!!

I love the idea of taking shadow photos rather than the person, especially in a playground. Perhaps in the right setting, this would work in street photography. Thanks for a new way of thinking in this genre.
I go back and forth....color wins, then B and W wins. I think in the color version, I can see the sub |

The lines caught my eye.....parallel, spiral, and curved. The contrast colors really create a nice photograph. I agree with the others that it is cropped a little tight. It looks like you have room to enlarge and include the whole flower. What a find. Beautiful flower!!! |

I am like most, uncomfortable taking a picture on a street including people for fear of being "attacked." We were in a small village in Slovikia. My husband asked a beautiful elderly woman if he could take her picture. She said no. She was dressed in local attire and looked to be about 90. Her son tried to encourage her, but she declined. We honored that. For some reason, that moment has stuck with me. I guess it's the rejection more than anything.
Having said all that, I do like your picture. Each time I look at it, I see another story. I wish the feet were whole, but in the moment, I imagine it was hard to think of everything. I hope you continue your street photography! |

Thanks Henry. I cropped, then decided to return the image to it's original size. The cropping just didn't feel right with the subject. Zip was brave. This was such a fleeting moment! |

We are lucky to have them in our neighborhood. Not everyone likes what they leave and do to the trees, but they were here long before we were. I love to watch from the porch or inside. |

What art work!!!! I especially like the post and expressions. Personally, I would crop to the end of the train, but that's fairly minor. I'd like to see more of this graffiti! Have you ever watched the artists at work? We have a large rock N of Ft Collins. Every time I pass it, the artwork has changed but I've never seen anyone painting. Just curious. |
