We are very lucky living where we do. My husband is from Michigan. We love going to Keweenah Peninsula and all the photographic opportunities. I guess the grass is always greener!!!!
I do find the blue photo very interesting and love your creativity! |

Good comment! I wanted to get closer. The bank was rather steep in that general area...and I didn't want to fall into the water or have ice break! Next time, I'll look for a better spot!! A small correction, while Colorado has beautiful mountains running through the state, this was in Wyoming in Grand Teton NP. |

Thanks Andrew. We'll be back in May and I'm sure several times this summer. I'll do my best. |

I do seem to take a lot of pictures there. I was born there, my grandparents homesteaded, grandpa (Harrison Crandall) was an artist photographer in the park. And while we don't have their original site, we do have a small house in the park. To me, it's a hard place to find something new and different as the area is photographed to death. We like it best in early winter.
Thank you for the time you spend and comments you make. |

I liked the blues in this photograph, then I read everyone's comments. After looking at the original, I am understanding the previous thoughts. The composition is wonderful. I'm wondering if that is a sign hiding in the tree? A kite? Whatever, it is hidden well! |

This takes me back in time. A wonderful capture and sepia adds to times gone by feelings this brings. Nice job!!! |

Excellent stitching! For me, reds stuck out from the tiles in the roof, the red shutters on the buildings to the left, to the activities through the arch. These create a triangle and keeps my eye coming back through the arch. I find this a fascinating image. |
