40 Feb 17 Reply Thanks Henry! I love White Sands! As I remember just beyond this dune was nothing but footprints and they ruined the scene with the mountains. We were there each night, but sadly, they close the park just around sunset time....maybe it's the time of year we were there. Also, the park isn't open until 7AM and the full day we were there, there was a missile testing so the park didn't open til 10! Just part of travel!

I agree with the other comments! I'm learning so much!!!

40 Feb 17 Comment The black swirls of ironwork really keep the eye moving, yet always coming back to the green fern (?) in the middle. I love the colors and lines. Very nice! Feb 13th
40 Feb 17 Comment I LOVE THIS, Karen!
The colors, movement, lines....simply beautiful! To me it's a fighting fish. It's funny how we all see something different, that's the beauty of abstract art.

40 Feb 17 Comment Judi, nice composition. You are right, this puts the observer in a very calm feeling. Feb 11th
40 Feb 17 Comment I've seen some wonderful phone shots. This is another one! Aren't we all lucky now that even if we don't have our "real" cameras with us, we have our phones! Feb 11th
40 Feb 17 Comment I was just at the Stock Show in Denver and saw many animals with this frightened look on their faces. You really captured this. I like the cropping as well. My eye keeps going to the bulls left eye and the tongue and wonder what he's thinking. Very nice!! Feb 11th
40 Feb 17 Comment While I feel I could walk right into the post processed picture, I agree with Judi, I like the original better. Before reading your HOW I DID IT comments, I thought to myself, "I like the original" and wondered why you changed it. It's a great wintry picture! Feb 11th
40 Feb 17 Reply Judi, I like your idea of cropping a little of the sand. I wasn't using a polarizer. The sky was very blue and I agree, it does seem dark. Not sure how to fix that. Thanks for your comments. Feb 11th
