Thanks! and a good easy fix.
Lately I've been using histogram in play back, all the time, to make sure I have the shot. Helps a lot.
Now I will use it in editing and give my eye a break for a brighter future. |

I like your image Dennis, lighter for sure.
I notice a lot of my images are darker by the time the end up here. They always seem lighter on my desk top. Might be the limited lighting in my office space too. |

My thoughts too. The road is actually a shadow from some trees. I decided to leave the shadow in as I thought the picture needed something, grounded, as the snow and tree were just hanging out there in space. |

That is a wild shopping experience, Star Trekky. I'm surprised at the DOF shooting at f/4.5. I must be missing something.
Good work! I like the measurement of capturing a photo as you saw it. |

I like the streams and detail in the smoke which I tried to bring out with my edits. Can't really say it is a improvement. Just a harder, contrasting image. |

Good capture and a rather casual shot even after asking for permission. |

Casually close capture. Like you said the light was a bit flat. Oh well. Still a good flat light photo. |

The image didn't really make any sense to myself till I read your description. A little bit more background might help with the setting. Agree with Than's comments, exceedingly sharp image. |

How did you get that out of a Rubik's cube, first thought.
Some what mysterious too after reading your description. Original and a interesting play on reality. |
