Good idea!
When composing I was focusing on the engine, opaque and clear glass, then noticing the pole and bridge which changed my direction. Felt lucky to find this shot as it was a flat overcast NW day. Not to exciting. |

I would agree, right about a foot. I might have to revisit the site. |

A after thought that I had was the bridge ties in with the train though doesn't jump out like the telephone pole. |

I agree with Sol and take the Cuckoo out of center. Like always, you have these captures dialed in. |

A nice soft capture, appealing.
I like taking pictures of bark on Madrona trees so fun to see other examples in this category. |

I was just looking at that seen while out sailing off the coast of Washington. I didn't know Pelicans came up this far.
The Pelicans seem to get lost with the busy background. Maybe a higher f stop, blurred background would help

Clean and well balanced, lighting, focus, composition. Always a little struggle for myself when capturing shade and sun.
One thing you might try when shooting on the water is to bring the camera as close down to the water as your comfortable with. Brings the water right up to the edge of the frame. |

Like you said the back ground is a perfect setting, fish included and tends to wash out with the background. Great photo! |

Excellent photo! and so clean, clear and real. Humbling too. Looks like you two know each other well, old friends. Have you made the stop before? |
