Yes. Distortion was bothering me too. I'll try that out. |

As I remember it was weak or nothing on top of the rainbow. Need to go back and look as I took quite a few pictures. |

Super sharp and I like your settings. 1/500 stopped the action for excellent results. F/8 for a relative depth of field.
The 2 sides of the stock divide the photo. Maybe experiment with a different camera position for the next round. |

Thomas Kinkade, painter of light was a thought that passed by. The flow of the street running through works well. I would of straightened the image to the left building corner which I will do.
Much better. You don't notice the right building as much since it is farther from the right side of the frame. A carpenters trick actually when doing finish work. I also saturated abit with color and light from the Photos app. I don't know why I don't use it more as it is so simple. |

It looks like the Tulips are following the sun or pointing towards it which plants do.
A close up version. There was a little foreground blur and just resized to my whim. |

I was struggling with this photo and my parameters with photography. But once I opened Bev's image it changed my perception of the orange, detail and texture and I appreciate the original. |

Yes, that is a good photo. Handheld even.
After looking over the photo a little closer I could see some converging lines and a hole, lower right, wear it looks like a brass frame could attach. ) |
