Local waters during the Pandemic then once the border is open again I'll spend most of my summers in Canada's endless cruising grounds. |

Just Perfect! Than. Composition, background, Egret. Thanks for sharing your settings. Hopefully I'll remember them. |

Beverly's image has a soft real feel, nice. I was just thinking about all the different software that is out there for photo editing. So here is a harder version using my Mac software. I was going to try to match Beverly's image but decided to just go with what grabs my eye which over editing usually does but now what I was after. |

Woolly Mammoth was my first thought and then John Day Fossil Monument. Hard to believe they use to roam in Oregon. Might not be too far off again either with Global warming.
The light is a little hot on the trunk and back which interrupts my eye with the seamless flow of the Woolly and back ground. Good work.

Good composition with flowing contrast from the flower to the back ground. The rain drops and flower hold my attention so I gave a tighter crop a try. I can't say it is better. Just different. |

Amazing detail and dark beauty. You really have the insect world dialed in. |

A+ on the assignment. That is a good trick you used with the poster board.
A well rounded photo that all flows together. |
