That is a good idea Neal in cropping the image towards the trails and having them lead off into the horizon. |

Good photo and choice of f/stop though I might of went a little higher on the aperture so the tip of his nose was in focus. The angry or hungry eyes, troubled? I'm glad there was some glass between you two. |

I didn't get it till I read it. Then I still couldn't find the dog till I quit looking so hard. Lighting, bokeh, color are all wonderful but the subject is less obvious. |

Good work! I got the feeling of a movie set till I read your description. I like the composition and mood it evokes. It would of been cool to capture the rain too. Here is my under exposed version which tones down the light and emphasizes the mood of the evening scene. |

A busy photo with the stair case, daylight window and overexposed lighted statue. If that light was off along with a higher shooting position to get the rail out of the window and lower right corner of the statue. Giving seperation to the different elements involved. |

I like the effect you were after. Though I than describe it other than chrome effect. Negative space and location of the shell works. You might of worked with a different back ground color leaving the shell B&W. Soften the back ground? |
