I was trying to make sense of it as one image upon my first view. Two images makes sense. Impact is definitely there through B & W. So is the composition you chose with the leading lines of the tower ascending into the sky. The street light silhouette in the right image has a rather strong presence on how it hangs out there. It could be the solid black color. Nice work! |

I chose to crop the photo so it portrays closer to your description. Some what used the rule of 1/3rds with the layers. |

Color, lighting, focus are all good. But I'm searching for a different composition or flow to the photo. |

Good work. Though without the description I was thinking of a spots on the lens. Which didn't make sense either. Maybe you could of juggled the shutter speed with DOF or f/stop to bring the spots into focus. But then you might lose the excellent you captured. Tough call. |

Cool and thanks for the little bit of history on the road too. I tried cropping the image to bring the subject, the road, into the forefront. I like the territorial textures and lighting with the only advice of a higher vantage point to bring in those curves that are up the hill.

Caught! A vivid color photo explaining the moment. Exposure, color, contrast, depth of field look to be spot on. Just a good capture! |
