10 Jun 18 Comment I appreciate what you are trying to do on this image, but from my viewpoint, you have done a bit too much with the use of HDR. There is haloing everywhere which is a telltale sign of too much HDR. Jun 16th
10 Jun 18 Comment Well said, Donna. Thanks for your comment.

10 Jun 18 Reply Richard, with all respect to your advanced age, I don't think that a 56-year-old man sitting on the sidewalk in a major city playing a guitar for food money classifies as either being modern or grown-up. Just my opinion. Jun 10th
10 Jun 18 Comment Once again, you have demonstrated a very nice eye for all things photographic. I love the storytelling on this particular image. The colors are really remarkable. To my eye, the images very slightly overexposed. If I can convince you to do some postprocessing in Lightroom, you could bring this down very nicely. However, I would strongly suggest that you might want to consider bracketing your shots in the future to eliminate this problem. See VF. Nice Job!!! Jun 10th
10 Jun 18 Comment You really have a nice eye for all things photographic, Diana. I really like the abstract nature of this image from the Guggenheim. The exposure is very well done and the composition is exceptional. The image might be enhanced by correcting what appears to be a slight bluish cast. In addition, setting a proper white and black point would do much I feel to enhance this image. If you go in the Lightroom, go to the develop module, go to the basic settings and then with the shift key depressed double click on the white and black sliders and Lightroom will automatically create a proper white and black point. If you wish to use it manually, then depress the alt key and click on the white and black sliders. See VF. Jun 10th
10 Jun 18 Comment This is a very nice documentary image, Rich. The image is well exposed and I like the focus. It has a very interesting story going along with the image. To my eye, the image has a slight bluish cast and it might be helpful to increase the color temperature a bit. In addition, the image apparently was taken at around noon time as evidenced by the sharp shadows but the image itself appears to be slightly underexposed. The image might be enhanced by increasing the exposure very slightly. See VF. Nice job Jun 10th
10 Jun 18 Comment There are so many things to like about this image, Donna. The composition is exceptionally well done with the image being placed in the third power point. In addition, there is an implied diagonal between the foreground and the background mushroom. I like the fact that you have used selective focus to focus our eyes on the foreground mushroom and not on the background. This already excellent image might be enhanced by decreasing some of the very bright green in the background as well as toning down some of the bright white highlights also in the background which tend to pull our eye away from the main subject. See VF. Well Done!!! Jun 10th
10 Jun 18 Comment REALLY nice image, Mark. It looks like you have really mastered the use of the ND filter. Everything about this image is exceptionally well done. The exposure, the shutter speed and the composition are all well done. Only a minor suggestion would be to use the adjustment brush to decrease some of the brightness in the bush on the camera right side of the image. Nice Job!!! Jun 10th
