This is REALLY cool, Herb. The image is absolutely entrancing. It definitely is a high impact image and I really like it. to me, the center of interest should be the eye. However, because of the brightly lit feathers in the background. my eye is drawn away from the center of interest. The image might be enhanced by decreasing some of the highlights and placing a small gradient on the right side to push our eyes towards the center of interest. Keep up the good work!!!!! |

I love traveling with you David even though I'm doing it vicariously. The images well exposed and the composition is quite good. I especially like all the really rich, vibrant colors that you manage to capture. Very nicely done. |

You've captured a very nice, tranquil scene, Diana. I really like the exposure where you kept the white in the snow. I think with this image, you might benefit from some cropping on the right side of the image as it does not really seem to be contributing to the image. In addition, since the tones are relatively flat, the image might be enhanced by a black-and-white conversion and really ramping up the contrast. See what you think. See VF |

These type of images are just catnip for me. I really like the subject, the exposure, and the focus. The subject is really interesting. To my eye, the image has a bit of a blue tint and this confirmed when looking at the RGB numbers. The image might be enhanced by correcting the white balance and also by increasing some of the whites. See VF |

WOW. You really hit this one out of the ballpark this time, Donna. It is really a nice low-key image. There are so many things to like about this image, the subject, the title, the exposure, the focus. I especially like the broad lighting effect you have here and you pulled that off very well. Because you lit the entire subject, the image tends to standoff a bit from the background. VERY WELL DONE!!!!! |

This is definitely a very moody image, Mark. the composition is extremely well done nice foreground, middle ground, and a background. I really like the black and white conversion as I think it conveys is very moody appearance. The image might be enhanced by decreasing some of the brightness in the clouds and the reflection so as to add to the moodiness. See VF. |
