A very creative use for this image. I really like what you're doing here in terms of making the image more interesting. The image is sharp and well focused and is extremely well done. The only thing I would nit pick would be this: whenever you composite two images you must be careful to avoid lighting mismatches. In this particular image. It appears that lighting is coming from two different directions which is confusing to the eyes. Other than that, keep up the good work and inspire the rest of us. |

A very nice image, David. You have a very good eye for things photographic. the image is sharp and well focused. The color balance is really exceptional. Our eyes tend to go to the brightest part of an image. In the case of this image, my eye goes immediately to the area behind the stone. In my estimation, the stone should be the brightest part of the image and thus drawing our eyes to this area. The image might be enhanced by decreasing some of the brightness in the background and adding a bit of brightness to the stone itself. See VF. Let me know what you think. |

I like your subject here. The composition, with a strong diagonal, adds much to the image in my estimation. To my eye, the image appears slightly flat. The image might be enhanced by some sharpening and changing the white and black points so as to increase the amount of contrast. see VF. Let me know what you think. |

A very nice image, Rich. I like the detail, I like the scene, I like your use of civil twilight so that you balance the sky with the incandescent lamps of the city. WELL DONE!!! |

I really like what you're trying to do here. The low key lighting and the single light source provide you with a very nice image of this young man. From a purely technical standpoint, I am disturbed by the lack of detail in the subjects left arm and left side. The area goes completely black with no detail. This problem could be resolved by adding a fill light or reflector to provide just a bit of light in this area which I think would enhance the image. VERY NICE JOB!!!!!! |

A very moody image, Mark. The exposure, color balance, focus are all very well done. To my eye, you might consider converting this to a black-and-white as I think it would enhance the moodiness of the image. Let me know what you think. See VF |
