A very nice image, Herb. I like the composition, the storytelling and the exposure. To my eye, the image appears to be somewhat overprocessed. By that I mean that it appears to be over sharpened and oversaturated. While I like HDR, I will frequently bring the preprocessed image into Photoshop and create a new layer and then apply whatever processing you wish. At the end of that time I use the opacity slider to decrease some of the effects of the HDR. Try this out and see if you like it. |

A really nice action shot, David. I like the exposure, the composition and the fact should have left just a little bit of foreground subject so I really know that this individual is going up in the air. GOOD JOB!!! |

There are many things to like about this image, Diana. I like the exposure, and the focus. You have a very nice leading line but unfortunately, to my eye, it leads nowhere. It doesn't lead me into the back of the image. The image also appears to my eye to be somewhat flat. The image might be enhanced by converting it to black-and-white and then using a split toning effect. See VF. Let me know if you think that the split toning is effective or not. |

Rich, I like this in so many ways. You chose the excellent time to take this image during civil twilight so that the blue sky contrasts nicely with the yellow lamps. The exposure is spot on as is the focus. The long focus did create this light trail which I think is attractive but others may this agree and feel it should be removed. Nevertheless, this is a very nice nice shot. |

WOW!!. This is a very very nice image. I really like the color balance, the composition, and the technical excellence as manifested by the extremely sharp focus and lighting. The image MIGHT be improved by increasing the exposure by about half a stop. See VF. GOOD JOB!!! |
