Nice character study, I would tone down the window at the top, the light is brighter than the models face I use Adobe Camera Raw which has all the tools needed for editing.

Great shot I like it better reversed, also toned down the bright sky and brightened up the ship which also brightened up the water around it.

Pittsburgh is a photographers dream, I like the vertical composition, color is right on, not to much sky.
Besides turning your head, it is always a good idea to look behind you occasionally, things look different after you pass them. My favorite walk around camera is a Nikon D7100 and a medium zoom, 18-200.

Very nice character study, I guess the only thing I would do is to tone down the bright door behind her, overly bright objects in the frame tend to draw your eye away from the principle which is the lady.

Good Day,
As a dedicated, diehard landscape photographer this is about as good as it gets,however I agree with Carmen it works better as a horizontal the upper 1/3 of the sky really does not add much to the composition and cropping the dark sky makes the overall image lighter.
