Joan, thank you for your comments. The image was cropped severely and this represents only about 1/5 of the original image. I will say that it needed no other sharpening straight from the camera. |

Hi George, The image looks a bit flat to me. The green does not bother me but ,perhaps you could darken the trees with a little burn adjustment and make them frame the field. I took the liberty of doing that on a copy of your image.I also adjusted the middle levels just a tiny bit so that there is more contrast on the plowed area. Ther is a very subtle difference. See what you think.

How fortunate you were to capture the peak clearly. Gorgeous light on the peak, The comment that I would make, and it is a minor one, is that the reflection is so bright that it detracts from the main image. If it were toned down just a little I believe it would be more natural looking. I took the liberty of touching it very lightly with the burn tool. What is your opinion? |

It surely does look like a swan at first glance and I can image the reeds gone without a problem. Maybe crop out a little more of the top and darken the background reed a bit more to male the bird stand out more Very nice, Joan. |

What a lucky find. Red, white and blue are my favorites. Put that together with the interesting patterns and it is a real eye catcher. Well done. |

Phones have really nice lenses now days...this is a beautiful lily. The only comments I would make are that there are two areas that I believe need toning down:the bottom of the left petal and the bottom edge of the lower right petal.
The other is:I am not sure that the wide bright yellow stroke helps the image much. It seems to take my eye away from the lily. I think that the narrow orange would be a better fit. Would love to see your lily beds. |
