Tianji, I love the expression you have captured. It radiates good cheer and just a little impishness. If we could see just a little bit more of his eyes we could appreciate those qualities more. There is Rembrandt lighting but, I agree with Joan, it is a bit harsh which can be adjusted in Photoshop.

I like your idea for catching both the building and the sculpture but it is unfortunate that the lampost and the leafless tree are in such sharp focus as both lead the eye away from the main subject.the colors are quite pleasing. |

George, you have captured an iconic scene of rural America. It's all there even the tractor mowing the field. My only comment is that I suggest cropping the sky some...maybe down to the top of the largest tree to make it more of a panorama.

Excellent results with color manipulations.As a flat-lander I am always impressed with beautiful mountains especially ones with sunsets. |
