Thanks for the advice Joan. I don't think I actually sharpened this image but the High Pass method would definitely be the one to use for sharpening. I learned it a while back but haven't used it in a long time! |

Great Landscape, George! The clouds are amazing and the church and grass areas really make the image! I love the colors and the way the church is highlighted beautifully! Good work!!

I agree, Rick, that you did an excellent job blending all the elements! It has the look of something from another world! The colors are great - nothing is blown out and somehow you've made it work! Good job!! |

Hi Carmen - your original image is beautiful, but I also like your Topaz Glow rendition! The colors are "other worldly" because you wouldn't see them in nature. I think it's a matter of personal preference which one appeals most.
As for Desktop vs. Laptop, I have a 13" MAC Air Pro and an older desktop, but I'm ready to retire the desktop. If you buy a big-enough MAC Pro with a large capacity Hard Drive and Memory & fast processor, it's more versatile than a desktop because you can take it with you, which I do all the time. Check them out at the Apple store and speak to the sales people. Good luck with your decision! |

I agree with George and Linda. It's a nice scene with lovely colors but I think it'd be a stronger image without the display case and partial picture on the left. You could crop it into a square shape, eliminating the case and fixing the frame of the picture on the right by cloning the frame & bottom portion of the painting. Toning down the bright areas in the window would also enhance the image. |
