Really good capture. The composition is just right, a little diagonal is created with one wing higher than the other. Very sharp, the detail in the feathers is super. Its a simple image, so attractive. I too should pay more attention to your camera settings. |

This is a very nice looking structure. Your symmetrical composition is perfect. The yellow lighting contrasts well with the cool greys of the architecture. The surrounding darkness focuses all our attention on the details of the building, the pool leads us to the door, inviting us to enter. Is this allowed? Great image. |

The city is very sharp, the colours look exactly right. There are enough different heights and features in the buildings to hold a viewer's interest........I think there is too much foreground, its mostly the same. A crop to take off the first grassy hummock bottom right, and reduce the sky a bit, would place more importance on the city buildings. |

Fireworks are difficult, until you get all the setting down for each situation. I used to do a lot in Vancouver, on slide film. Digital is a bit different, and have never gotten the same results since. The interesting thing that is different in this image is the effect of the wind, or I guess its the wind. The incandescent trails are all moving to the right, even the star burst. |

Nice subject, nice colours. What the rest of the cat looks like is a mystery, so a good story........I think that cropping the dark area on the left, and the large dark trees on the right would place more focus on the subject. |

Well, I think your image is very good, captured at just the right instant. The play of light and shadow on the birds and background is attractive. Even with the impressionistic look, the subjects separate from the lighter coloured background.....A small nitpick would be to crop a bit more off the left side. |
