I see I am not the only one that takes found flowers with a 400mm lens. There are really only two colours and one type of flower, but because they are at different levels of sharpness, I find myself wandering around the frame, looking at the different details. But I stay in the picture and don't leave. |

The design of the beams is very interesting. They have an asymmetrical shape, but you have used repetition and perspective give great distance and depth. The pale green colour is restful and inviting. The lady in orange is a bonus, and in just the right position. |

Just a bit of wind, the hair do is interesting. Your composition is good, balanced. The rock is a base, and mimics some of the colours of the Heron. An attractive subject. |

It is an interesting arrangement. Very sparse, but gently fills the frame. The white background is just right. The values you have chosen render a painterly look, as in a water colour. Very nice. |

Nice colours, the lighting certainly has that high altitude look. Having the red hatted subject holds our attention and keeps us in the frame.......I think it would be good to open the shadows a bit, on the left side specifically. Also the modern water bottle takes away from the old world feel. |

Very intense action, captured just at the right moment. The grouping fills the frame. The conversion to B&W focuses our attention on the implied direction of motion......I have stayed in this local, just across the highway from the hill. But not during the race, which is part of the Omak rodeo. I seem to remember that originally this was a native race, it is on their reserve, but now is open to all. |
