I think that you captured the moment, the attitude and direction of the implied motion is just right. Very sharp and detailed, nice crop. The half eaten meal is part of the nature story......A nitpick would be that the bird looks too sharp. But that could be a matter of taste. |

I very much like your composition, its just right. I did't read your description first, so for a minute I thought that you had a live model. Then I noticed the texture etc.......We take photographs of other people's art all the time. Like building interiors and exteriors. You didn't make a copy of a sculpture, you interpreted a part of an object and created an artistic photograph, which just as easily could have been a painting........Don't get me going on fundamentalism, of any belief system.

Great colour, the rain drops are a bonus. The flower is very sharp, with just a little stem to ground it. The sharpness of the leaves fades off just a bit, keeping the attention on the bloom........I think this image would be good in a square format, like a portrait. |

I like this image a lot. I know it is based on a flower, but the lines and shapes rendered in B&W take it to a higher level. There is simple repetition, but its asymmetrical, adding interest. Very good. |

I find your composition very interesting. Without a face, there is an air of mystery about the person, especially if you don't know who it is. The part of the robe you decided to include has a nice shape and excellent colour. The hand adds to the question of who is it, and what are they thinking. |

A very good capture in difficult light. The colours are subtle, the details fine, considering the ISO you had to use. I especially like the symmetry you achieved in your composition. |
