Thank you. I actually showed it in this space, 2009-10. Before your time here. It is from a scanned slide, Velvia, taken at the Adams river mouth spawning channel. |

What a great nature story. And two different types of dragonfly. They are very sharp with good detail. I wonder if the golden one is going to be lunch. |

I think the light colour at the bottom is fine. The way the trees have rendered reminds me of feathers. The hint of blue at the top lets us in on the secret. Its an interesting technique, you never quite know what you will get. |

What a fantastic subject. Lucky you. The harsh light has really shown off the detail of the feathers and has not blown out the colours. Good job. |

It is interesting. An inexpensive fisheye lens, sort of......I think it would be good if you were to rotate the image a bit, so the curved horizon is even both sides, and the picture is centred. |

The pool has an interesting shape, like a leaf, with the stem the outlet runnel. The alpenglow on the reflected mountains is nice, very bright. Enhancing the contrast has given the pebbles a jewel like appearance. Good for you to see this. |

I think your composition works very well. The lone figure, the rank of trees adds rhythm and perspective. In this image the overall colour caste ties everything together. I like the few leaves that you decided to include. The filter is ok, but the picture would be fine without it. A personal taste thing. |
