Hi Michael: Never in 100 years would I have thought this shot was taken in Death Valley not until I read your intro. I love the composition, which is very simple, but dramatic. The sky is the icing on the cake. Well seen and processed as well. |

Hi John: I like your composition with the bridge's shapes very much. To my eye, your image is underexposed and seems to project a dark day. I agree with the previous comments regarding lightening the prominent bridge and perhaps some other selective areas. |

Hi Peter: Another wonderful landscape image. You've managed to capture several leading lines directly to the sea stacks. It looks like a cold and windy day with the anger of the rugged sea telling another story. I love the shapes and textures in your image especially from both the beach and sea stacks. |

Hi Susan: When I first looked at your image it seemed a bit quiet or flat as you described it. Michael's version adds more contrast which gives it that pop needed. Your composition is good, and your image is straight and sharp I & believe it just needs more contrast. |

Hi Ed: Your composition is filled with leading lines all going in the direction to that window. I love all of the lines and textures in your image as well. Just thinking out loud & wondering if a slight vignette might be another addition to help focus on that window & help reduce some of the blank space of the wooden wall? |

Hi Ian: An Aston Martin no less! Wow. I love how you captured the lines & shapes of the vehicle. Those familiar with Aston Martin vehicles would know immediately that it was from one of their cars. Great tonal values, & textures along with your image being sharp. Shiney things are really difficult to photograph, and you managed to get a great shot. Well Done. |
