Hi Ian: you are spot on about the light. I light painted this still life which, as you noted with the reflectivity of both the pearls & silk on the shoes, was the most difficult aspect. Controlling the light in this image was the major challenge. Thank you for your comments. |

Hi Susan: You have a winner here. Your choice of mono suits this image very well and focuses on the monk & candles. Great job. |

Hi Michael: Your long shutter resulted in a soft looking water and sky which made your subject of the pier and lighthouse stand out. Great job. |

Hi Ian: You did it again. What a great capture of the helicopter. I agree with the other comments regarding the rotor blades. Just a thought: if you replicate the rotor blades and composite them into the image but change the spacing a bit, I think it might solve the problem. |

Hi Peter: This is so ooo cool. I love this ghost. Rhyolite has several other ghostly figures around town as well. I'll be going to Death Valley next January and will be sure to stop by and grab a few shots of these castings. Great job as usual. |

Hi John: Talk about information overload. It appears to be some remnants of a traffic construction site. It is bewildering though. Nicely captured. |

Hi Dennis: A visitor from group 31. A lovely image with great reflections. I agree with comments regarding the koi fish in the water as these are a distraction. Your image is tack sharp and nicely composed. |
