Hi Susan: My initial impression was of park benches in the snow. I did not realize these are avalanche deterrents. Interesting shapes and textures that kept my eyes busy for a long time. Well seen. |

Hi John: At first glance I thought it was two eyes that were half closed. Nice leading line to the second "eye" which appears to be soft. In your minimalistic image, however, that would indicate a repeating pattern. The textured background adds interest as well. |

Hi Peter: Beautiful shapes & textures of the White Pockets area. The tonal values are beautiful. Technically well done as usual. Another outstanding landscape image. |

Hi Michael: Yes, I do see two faces in the crashing waves. Actually, the longer I look at the waves the more my imagination sees. The dynamic crashing waves against the shore rocks, however, tells the story for me. Nice capture and well seen. |

Hi Ian: What a great image of a lighthouse with bad weather. Your composition is wonderful with the rocks serving as a great leading line. Very nice tonal variations as well. Thinking out loud - wondering if adding a highlight where the lighthouse light should be. Making it look like the lighthouse is still functioning? |

Hi Ed: What a great skyline image. I love the sky with those great clouds or dispersed contrails. To my eye your image is about the skyline and sky so agree with your decision to keep the water to a minimum. Technically well done. |
