Hi Ian: I really like the leading line in your image. You handled the exposure beautifully and, to my eye, the clouds are a real bonus. The water in the sea looks exactly like it is a windy, rainy day. |

HI Susan: A very nice image. The background really gives context to the statue. The light on him is lovely and brings out all of the details. While most of the time we want clouds, I think, in this example, they would have been a distraction. I am envious looking at the statue that I cannot flex my knees that way. |

HI Peter: Thank you for your comments. The "perch" the curved bill thrasher is sitting on is a saguaro cactus skeleton. Looking closely the bird and skeleton are sharper than the rest of the image. The background doesn't offer much except some Mediterranean Palm leaves. |

Hi Ed: I really like the composition of your image. What is the location of this waterfall? Nice leading line of the river directly to the waterfall. Beautiful light and texture on the cliff wall. Technically well done. A really nice image. |

Hi Michael: Welcome to our little monochrome group. I like how the light on the chairs as well as the cast shadows. I do agree with Ian's comment on the long line of bright light on the right-hand side of the image. |

Hi John: What an interesting story about the gent who cultivated the top of the rock. I really like your foreground that leads the eye right to Charley's rock. Very nice textures and, to my eye well exposed with a straight horizon line. |
