Thanks to all for your comments and feedback. This image got BOS in a recent interclub competition... which only goes to show ... as with all images... it all depends on the viewer - what counts is what the maker likes and thinks. Thanks again |

Hi John: Looking at your image, I could almost smell the sea and hear the birds! Interesting lines and the light houses add interest. The sky seems to be 2/3 of the image and to my eye appears to be a bit flat. I'm wondering if a levels or curves adjustment might help or some burning and dodging in selected areas? |

Hi Ian: Congrats on your image show! Wow...here's look'n at you! Which made me look closely at those big eyes and could almost see your reflection taking this image. Who knew? Well, the eyes have it as the saying goes. |

Hi Nick: To my eye this is really an outstanding image. I love the composition and how the little village appears in the landscape. The waterfall looks great even with your high shutter speed. Great sky as well. Very nice image! |

Hi Peter: Burrrr how cold was it? I love the image. To my eye it is absolutely perfect. I would not change one thing and believe it is another outstanding landscape image. |

Susan: From my limited experience in photography capturing fog is a tricky business. What our expensive cameras "see" and what our wonderful eyes with the best lenses ever see are often not the same. Trying to capture that foggy moment in an image often results in a departure from our memory. Without reading your description, I would not have known it was fog as the image appears to be totally soft. Pushing the envelope pays and believe with your creative vision you will continue to take great images in the future. |

Hi Ed: Wow.. great capture of the airborne biker! The trail seems to serve as a nice leading line. To my eye the biker looks a bit soft but it does give the impression of movement. Overall, the image appears flat and might benefit from a levels or curves adjustment. |
