31 Aug 23 Comment Hi John: It seems shadows are a common theme this month and I like the one you captured of the anchor. To my eye the subject of the image -the anchor and shadow are a small part of the image with the interesting building taking up most of the real estate. Since I do not know the location I'm not sure if you could have moved yourself to the left to give the anchor a more central location in the image. Aug 12th

31 Aug 23 Comment Hi Ian: You just don't see these kind of vintage hood ornaments anymore and can see why you are drawn to them. Shiny things are always hard to photograph with all the reflections and glare to deal with. I like how you captured two reflections of the swan. By including the front of the vehicle gives the viewer a clue as to what the swan is. I bet your image is really nice in color as well. Aug 11th
