31 Jun 23 Comment Hi John: A very unique shot - I've never seen a horse with a sheep in the same field. The horse seems at ease with the sheep as seen with his hind leg relaxed. The top of the barn in the background adds to the context of your image. Nicely done! Jun 8th

Sadly, since someone taking a selfie went over the edge, they've installed a safety fence. This location is almost in my backyard, and one issue is that we usually have clear blue skies... good choice to replace the sky with one that have some clouds. Another outstanding landscape image! 31 Jun 23 Comment Hi Ian: Your model's eyes really grabbed my attention. Studio portraits look easy to the viewer, but, mastering the lighting is the key. In my very, very limited experience with studio portraits, the model's body faces the key (main) light, and they turn their head toward the photographer who is away from that light. Supporting lights are set at lower energy levels than the key light.
To my eye, the model's bright arm "grabs" center stage away from the model's face. If, she was wearing a long-sleeved dark dress, her arm might not have been a distraction. Great first attempt at studio photography! 		Jun 7th
