HI Susan: Welcome to our B/W group. I love the Eastern Sierra
mountains. Your first image submitted is really nice. I believe Peter's suggestions could benefit your image and increase it's impact. Can't wait to see your November image! |

HI Nick: When I look at your image, I can almost hear the water. I love the effect of the slow shutter on this waterfall as well. Everyone has their opinion, but, I prefer to see where the water is coming from and not crop the image. A teeny-weeny suggestion would be to darken the right top a bit - the area where the sun is shining upon. |

HI John: An interesting study of shapes, shadows and textures. Just thinking out loud, would a slight vignette help? I da no. I probably would change nothing. |

HI Peter: Another great landscape. I really like the leading line in your image which took me right through the entire landscape. To my eye, that old rust bucket is really a plus in this landscape. Beautiful sky! |

John... thanks for your feedback. I selected this particular butterfly b/c it is B/W already without any post camera processing. I shot this at the Butterfly Wonderland where they import butterflies from all over the world. This butterfly is native to Japan and the orient. Thanks again |

HI Ian: What a cool rearview mirror! You've really got a good eye for spotting these weird, wacky and wonderful things. Given Halloween is right around the corner, your image is perfect for the season. I love your image, there is no question as to what the subject is and might change/modify one teeny thing...and that is to slightly darken the light white boke area by the index finger. |
