Hi Nick: Thanks for your comments. The wood block might be a bit large, but, it was the best I could find at the moment. |

Hi Ed: Very nice leading line into your image. The reflections of the clouds on the relatively quiet water are great. Nice tonal quality as well. |

Peter, the stroke was 2 pix and grey and suspect that is why it doesn't show. thanks for your feedback. |

HI Peter: I love your landscape ... but, I da no about the sky. Great leading line and excellent handling of light and shadow. If this were my image, I might consider checking my archive's for a better sky.. to my eye, the one you've selected, while dramatic, does not match the perspective of the image. |

HI Nick: Firstly, I like your image very much. The Fisgard lighthouse is very historic and looks great in silhouette. I'm torn between is the image about the sky or lighthouse b/c almost 3/4 of the image is sky. Since you captured light beams would it be possible to dodge the lighthouse a bit to give it more definition, so it appears it is being lit by one of those beams? If this were my image, I'd give it a try and would not crop the image as you do have a great sky. |

HI John: Scottland is on my bucket list...thanks for the preview. I like your leading line of the footpath and fence. Great sky as well. If this were my image, I might consider tightening the crop on the left as well as the bottom. Nice tonal values as well. |

HI Ian: Great image! I love that you off-set the Mercedes logo, which, to my eye makes the image a bit more interesting. I also like the texture the chipping of the paint gives to the grille. You've got a good eye for catching something like this. And, I suspect most people would just walk by and totally miss seeing this logo. |
