HI Ed: Nice reflections and textures captured in your image, however, the leading line - leads me right out of your image. To my eye, the rocks are all relatively the same size and shape and do not seem to offer much interest. Does the color version capture some reflections not fully seen in the B/W? |

Peter thanks for your feed back... I agree. I did try to tone down that right foot a bit... and, might give that area one more shot. |

HI Peter: Looking at your image I don't know how you were able to keep your feet to get this shot. Yikes! The wind must have been blowing like mad. How cold was it? Beautiful sea scape, I can just hear the wind howling and crashing of the waves when I look at your image. Really nice image! |

HI John: An interesting study in shapes and textures. I do believe Ian's suggestion of opening up the shadows a bet is a good one. |

HI Ian: I like your image of flowers and to my eye it works in B/W. I think the bug is a bonus but can easily be missed. My eye keeps going to the dark area to the right and below the light flower... I think if this were my image, I might consider cloning in some of the neighboring flowers and/or vegetation to that dark area. I think your vignette works well. |

HI Nick: To my eye your image works well in B/W probably B/C of the subject. Great catch light in his/her eyes, as well as nice tonal quality and texture in the fur. I'm wondering if a very slight vignette might help to reduce the white background. |
