HI Paul: These three lads seem to be having a real conversation based on the expressions on their faces. To my eye, the addition of the vignette decreases some of the white on the wall and focuses on the boys. |

HI Nick... shooting fog always seems to be a challenge. Having said that, I like your composition and the horizon appears straight to my eye. The tops of the rocks seem to be reflecting nicely giving a sense of depth to your image. |

Hi John: I like plants and, I like sky... I guess my suggestion would be to determine which you want to feature and which you want to be minimal and adjust the crop accordingly. I don't have eagle eyes and would not have noticed the dust or water spots... but good catch by Nick.... |

Hi Ian: You were in the right location at the right time! The ship is beautifully lit against the rather ominous, dramatic & dark stormy sky. The horizon looks straight to my eye and your image is tack sharp. If this were my image, I might consider a crop where the boat has more room in the front and less in the rear. Additionally, I might consider selectively dodging the clouds to further make them a bit more dramatic. Now I'm ready to hop on that boat and go for a cruise :-) |

Hi Peter: Okay... how cold was it? I get goose's flesh just looking at your image! Another great landscape! Are those foot prints on the left hand side or rabbit tracks? Did you need to take any special measures to protect your equipment? |

Hi Ed: I like your composition very much. To my eye, your image appears to be a BW sketch. If this were my image, I might consider selectively dodging areas to give the appearance of more depth. For example, under the water wheel and porch of the building. |
