HI John: I da no...To my eye, I think if you would have pulled back a bit to include both branches against the sky, there might be a bit more interest? Perhaps more contract in the sky might help as well. Agree with Peter's comments regarding the dreaded halos. |

Hi Paul: What a cute lad. Nice catch light in his eyes. If this were my image, I might consider a slightly tighter crop from the right hand side and add a vignette to darken the highlights a bit. Very nice capture. |

HI Peter: Sometimes, less IS more. I like that you were able to spot these three dandelion looking weeds popping up out of the snow. To my eye, this image conveys the feeling of desolation and cold, but signs of life popping up out of the snow. Nicely done. |

HI Michael: Just out of curiosity when was this image shot? From it's content, it doesn't look that long ago...In any case my impression is that of an oasis to stop at while driving at night. A rather familiar and welcoming place to stop for a short visit. To my eye, it seems a bit over exposed, but processed well. This image is very different subject matter but, did capture my interest. |

Hi Ed: This looks like bad water basin in death valley?... a great shot. You were lucky to catch this area without many visitors walking all over the salt leaving foot prints...which could be interesting. I like the light in your image and the formations form a nice leading line. Very nice |

HI Ian: Yikes! I'd hate to run into this fellow any place, much less a dark alley:-)... He could almost be called Edward Scissor Hands... Or dagger hands....Nicely captured and processed. I like the vignette which really makes this character take center stage. |

Hi Georgianne: A visitor from group 31, and hope you remember me from ACCC. I saw your image and was very impressed. Love your composition and color selection! Thank you for giving the steps to replicate this technique. Best wishes for your sabbatical. |
