Hi Michael: Your image has lots of texture and shapes which is very interesting. Nicely processed as well. |

HI Peter: Very nice image. I am surprised that you were able to achieve such sharpness hand held with a shutter of 1/8. I like the composition very much |

Paul: a Great shot of a memorial to Jewish victims of the war. I think of the souls that once occupied these shoes who suffered this horrifying act by the Arrow Cross Militiamen. I often wonder how many visitors walk right by this chilling memorial and focus on the Parliament buildings instead. It is hard to see, but, we should never forget. To my eye, you selected a group of shoes that captures the gravity of the past where they all suffered the same end. Very sad indeed. |

Okay, HANDS UP!! Wow, Ian... a great and scary shot! I'd hate to run into this character in a dark alley... B U T... I'd bet he is really a nice man...Perfect focus on the gun with highlights in all the right places...starting with his hat, half lighted face, hand, and gun. I think your choice of focal length is perfect for this image. ***** lots of stars in my book! |

Hi John: A very minimalist image indeed, however, looking closely at your image... I do see, very faint animal foot prints leading up the hill, then disappearing about half way up. Which seems to give the image a bit more interest for me. As a minimalist capture is is just that. and, appears rather flat to my eye. |

Hi Paul: Thanks for visiting our group... I am just practicing with still-life light painting... and, yes, I used a small flash light then in post camera processing used masks and, in essence painted twice. Thank you for your feed back. |
