Ed- thank you for your kind feedback... I'm encouraged to check out what might be on my dining room table and use window light for more ideas. Being stuck at home can bring out some creativity. Thanks again for your comments. |

Hi John - thank your for your very nice feedback... I actually got my inspiration for this image from a magazine advertisement... but it was for a man's watch and was totally different - except for the lighting which I tried to replicate. |

Very nice composition, tack sharp and nice leading line of the snow. Another great landscape! |

Paul... a nice capture... I like the texture on the wall and it isn't distracting at all from your main subject. Overall a nice capture! |

Hi Ian... another great image! I like the motion and leading line of the tree trunks... a back-lit image is always challenging and you did a nice job in capturing it. The dreaded halos seem to plague all of us...but are easily fixed. I'm wondering if just a touch of dodging and or burning on the trunks in selective areas might bring them out a bit more? Just a thought... |

Hi John: These old steam engines when fired up are really alive ... Their smaller scale can be seen by the humans in the cab. If this were my image, I might consider darkening the sky a bit - especially on the right hand side, and, lightening the engine on the left especially the engineers in the cab. Additionally, I'd darken or remove the white roller contraption which seems to "grab" attention from those great old engines. Finally, one of your fellow photographers, standing right in the middle of the two engines is a distraction and, could be cloned out easily. |

Hi Michael: When I see these old buildings, I always wish they could talk and tell us of their history. Having said that, I like your composition and reflections very much. To my eye, the electrical wires are a distraction as well as the white spot in the clouds and probably could easily be removed in post processing. Your choice of sepia, in my opinion, is a good one for this image. |

HI Ed: I love these old buildings. You composed and processed this beautifully. To my eye, the reflection in the window is a real plus adding interest and dimension to your image. Well done! |

Hi Jerry: Having been to Canyon de Chelly a few times, I can appreciate your effort and image. Nicely processed, sharp and detail visible in the shadows. This is a must see for anyone who has not visited this canyon. |

Hi John- thanks for your comments on my image in group 31 and thought I'd visit your group. Being a Chicago girl originally the Tribune tower in the downtown neighborhood brings back memories. Architecture is never easy to photograph and, to my eye, you've done a nice job. |
