HI Ed: I feel the angle of the cutting board provides another level of interest as well as a leading line.. I appreciate your feedback, thank you. |

Rashid: A nice image... I am sorry to say, I have little experience with using my phone for images and my comments probably would not be helpful. I'd suspect that if using these for the interweb, or social media, the resolution would suffice, however, for larger format would not b/c of the sensor size. |

Hi Jerry: Thanks for visiting our group... what a keen eye... I'll try another still live with a straighter angle... I set the bottom board on an angle thinking it would provide more room and interest for the fruit...
Guess this one was a total failure all the way round..:-(
On to something else next year. Thanks for your comments. |

HI Peter: I just love the beautiful rural churches of Iceland. As you mentioned, inclement weather is the norm in Iceland and one of the major challenges for us photographers. I like your composition very much... the boulders in the foreground add texture and context to the image along with the sky. The church is straight and all elements are visible to the eye. Nice tonal variation and technically well done. Very nice image! |

Hi John: What can I say that Peter has not already said? I like how you captured the water movement with just the right shutter speed, nice leading lines. With a few tweaks as mentioned, and, you've got a winner! |

Hi Ian: I like your sail boat composition very much with one coming and one going, already tacked. Straight horizon and beautiful reflections are all on the plus side for this image. Being lucky with the sky is always something we hope for but, to my eye, you handled it nicely. |

Greetings visitor from group 32... interesting question re: speed lites... actually, I used two speed lites one left and above, one right, both at the same power. I am a novice at speed lites which, in my view, is a whole n'other world.. have been practicing as you can tell, and, taking 1:1 sessions with one of our club members, who in his working life, was a professional photographer... stay tuned for more and better still life shots using speed lites! Hope that answers your question... I'll soon visit your group and hope you can demonstrate your skill with speed lites. Thanks for your comments. |

Hi Ed: What an interesting image, it kept my eyes busy for a long time trying to figure out what this might have been. Nicely composed and technically well done. I understand why it caught your eye... it did mine as well! |

HI Paul: I think you have a real winner..in both your image and your new lens. Fabulous capture, tack sharp, and love the background... out of focus, but still gives a sense of place - the skate board park/facility. |
