HI Ian... visiting from our Mono group 31...and, am accustomed to seeing your work in B/W...and, must say, I was blown away by this shot! Great composition and very colorful.... I agree with darkening or cloning out the vehicles in the background on the left hand side... |

Hi Ian: thanks for your feedback... Many of the characters at the Renaissance Festival are quite interesting... wearing contact lenses that can give you a fright is fairly common...however, considering entering this into competition, I do believe that changing out the eyes to reflect a more "normal" appearance would site better with most judges as well as younger skin tonality. If, this were a male subject, I do believe the wrinkles and freckles would be more acceptable in competition... just my opinion |

Hi Paul, nice waterfall. There is no question as to the subject of your image. I'm not sure if there is any way a bit more detail can be extracted from that rock on the left... I like the softness of the water and believe your shutter speed was right on for this image. |

Rashid.. a very different and interesting image.. looking at it closely, you've even managed to capture your own reflection on the vehicle's door. Post camera processing done well. |

Hi Ed: Fog is not everyone's bag... but, it certainly is mine! I love fog and think it reveals just enough information to the viewer to make it super interesting. |

HI Ian: I like the way you darkened the background to separate it from your subject. If this were my image, I might consider darkening that triangular light behind his raised right arm a bit more. Another interesting character, who looks to be in fabulous physical health. Agree with Peter's minor niggle... nice image! |

Hi John: your image seems to be a study of textures, shapes, lines, and tonal values. I kept looking for some vehicle that made those impressions without success. In my opinion, and addition or inclusion of a vehicle or wheel that made those impressions might have added a bit more interest to this image. There is not enough information to glean where the tire impressions are leading to or from. |

Peter, thank you... she was full of freckles and, I know I need to work on her shoulders etc... again, that will be lots of work since she has that necklace... but, will do. Thanks again for your feedback. |

Hi Darrell: Thank you for your nice feedback...Please don't jump when you see the original... It was a L O T of work to get her to look like this... I quickly found out, people had difficulty relating to those strange contact lenses... so, I changed her eyes, and used a program to smooth her skin a bit (a lot)and removed that long stringy hair, which seemed distracting. |
