Hi Ian, thank you for your comments. I have a series of images with this lady proceeding down the walk-way, but, this one seemed to capture the moment best. This was shot at the entrance walk-way to prismatic geyser early morning. It was cool and the steam in the background seemed to give this image some interest. Thank you for your comments. |

Stephan: Thank you for visiting our group. I did look at group 11, and, while the images are totally different, I do see where you are coming from. Yes, in the original image I do have enough to extend the railing all the way. I decided to crop the image and let the right side be the leading line b/c the left rail had miss-matched boards and, to my eye was a distraction to the over-all image. Thank you for your comments and visit us again in the future. |

HI Paul: To my eye, this is a great portrait! The clipped hat is minor in my opinion. I might consider a tighter crop if this were my image. Technically, well done! |

Hi Ian: I like your image very much. I like the shapes and distortion of the glass block. I must admit, at first glance, I totally missed the figure walking down the stairs. To my eye, the image might benefit from some straightening and/or perspective adjustment? |

HI John: An interesting study of shapes, textures and shadows. I agree with the previous comments regarding the light area, perhaps just tone down a bit. I like the detail in the shadow area and the cast shadow really makes your image interesting. |

Hi Rashid: I like your composition very much. If this were my image, I might consider lightening the face a bit and a tighter crop. Technically well done. |
