Ella -a delightful image, well thought out and nicely balanced. However I find the horizontal light toned strip acorss the base of the image very distracting.

Susan - another winter image which invokes a real feeling of cold. Welll processed - I know how difficult it can be to extract any texture from snow.

Ed - an imaginative still life enhanced by the addition of the projected pattern. I think that the image would be improved if you could extract some more detail from the vase.

Michael - I remember that the Alabhama Hills are full of interestingly rock forms - wery much an alien landscape, but difficult to home in on a good arrangement.
I like the shapes, arrangement and balance of your choice. The inclusion of the foreground brush sets the scene nicely. As with your previous images from the Alabahma Hills the sky is so important- plain blue would not have worked.

Ian - a very competant portrait which certainly evokes the feeling of contemplation. Well lit, but with minor issoes. The distracting highlight on his right hand cufflink, left hand cufflink (although less distracting) and the bright button on his shirt. You could also tone down or remove the highkights in his glasses - they are a menace with studio lighting!
Bear in mind that I do not take portraits - exclusively landscapes and I may be being over picky.

John - an interesting combination of textures and shapes, well seen as usual. I like the prominence of the older wall with it's irregular shapes contrasting with the rigid shapes of the 'conventional' wall in the background.
So simple yet very effective.
