John - An all too common aspect of modern life well captured as usual. |

Ella - as usual you have nailed every aspect of the image in your inimitable way. Stunning image! |

Susan - a first class portrait of the monk surrounded by candles which give a very atmospheric feeling. I think the face could be brightened slightly to emphasize the light from the candle he is holding, but otherwise well processed. |

Ed - a well seen, composed and processed image. A strong lead in with the path which ends with a turn to the left creating a sense of mystery.
In the West we tend to read images from L to R and IMO flipping the image horizontally increases the impact. |

Michael - a classic jetty image with great depth. The use of a very long shuttter speed has enhanced the image, smoothing out the water and the sky and giving a slightly surreal feeling. The row of posts in the water add interest to the image which would be a little bland without them. Good tonal range and textural detail. |

Ian - a very competent image of the helicopter taking off with a good degree of blur in the rotors. The sheen on the fuselage comes across well, but as Susan noted the main rotor merges with the dark sky. Some adjustment needed here! |
