Ella - your inginuity and creativity in the field of still life never fail to amaze me. Another well thought out and imaginative image in which the lighting has been handled to perfection - as usual!
All the elements in the image combine so well to set the scene and tell the story. |

Susan - photography is all about light and you have used it perfectly in this image. The sunlit redwood has a great shape which is fairly symmetrical and the hint of detail in the background sets the scene and gives the image some depth.
I feel that the image would have more impact with a 1-2 pixel white stroke to separate it from the black screen background. |

Ed - a great rendition of an everyday object made by the lighting and the shapes. I wonder if the image would be strengthen by cropping off a portion of the foreground - about an inch or two? |

Michael - a really top quality macro image of this fungi with superb lighting. Your use of focus stacking has paid off although I am a little surprised at the number of images you stacked. The slight hint of detail in the background is a bonus. Processed to perfection! |

John - an interesting study of shapes and textures and so well seen. I have no issues with the tones of the background trees, but would suggest pulling more detail out of the bright area top/middle right of the image - Nik Detail Extractor and Pro Contrast on a masked image layer. |
