Michael - great image enhanced by the lenticular cloud begging out for a suitable foreground which I suspect is the Alabama Hills. Excellent arrangement and shape of the rocks with great tones and textures and good lighting.
I only saw a lenticular cloud once during my many visits to the States - from the top of the pass from Yosemite to Lone Pine. |

Ella - an outstanding image with great impact and graphic design. Your creative juices must have been at full flow to pick up on this!
I agree with Stephen regarding the inclusion of a person in the first window - it would have detracted from the pure graphical impact of the image. I do like the subtle detail on the RHS of the mage. |

Susan - a well executed image of the waterfall - the streams of water cascading down the rocks are so much more subtle and gentile than a white torrent! The use of a slow shutter speed has enhanced the atmosphere of the image. |

Ed - a great family(?) image oozing connectivity and tranquility - the arrangement of the three ladies is excellent with the heads ncely triangulated. The steps make an ideal foreground and the diffused background serves to put emphasis on the ladies.
Very well processed with good detail in the light tones. My only nit pick is the cutoff of the lady on the left of the frame - no big deal, but I would have preferred to see all of the ladt. |

Ian - a really well executed image of the singer/guitarist performing captured under difficult, but dramatic lighting conditions. I have no real issues re. the brightness of the face and guitar although the brightness of the latter could be slightly reduced.
As Ella noted the various light spots around the image need to be cloned out and I would suggest a crop to remove the stand at the LH edge of the image or simply clone it out. |

John - another intriguing image - nicely composed and well seen. Good range of textures and tones and the diagonal flow of the seaweed leads the eye across the image. A touch more contrast might be beneficial.
At first sight this image could be seen as a distant landscape rather than a close up view. The seaweed could be seen as rows of trees/bushes climbing up a mountain side and the rocks in the background top left as the sky. |
