31 Nov 24 Comment Susan - a dynamic representation of the mission church, well suited to the use of IR. I love the overall shape of the building and the perspective. Obviosly very difficult the record any texture in directly lit white walls and indeed there may not be any there.
It does strike me that the lower half of the image is somewhat washed out and a graduated Curves adjustment my strengrhen the image.

31 Nov 24 Comment Ella - yet again you treat us to a delightful still life image! The arrangement of the two jugs is spot on (as usual) and the lighting has been handled exceptionally well. I particularly like the mirroring of the grasses in the jug with the very similar material at the end of the beads.
I agree with Michael re. working a little on the details on the vases.

31 Nov 24 Comment Ed - an mmazing imagw with such great depth and good symmetry. The lighting in the hallway adds atmosphere to the image and yields detail right to the end. Well processed but the image may have a little bit more to give with a contrast adjustment.
If the image was mine I would be very tempted to add a figure in the higlighted area at the end.

31 Nov 24 Comment Michael - an outstanding image so well captured and processed. The composition is near perfection, the tonality spot on and the atmosphere generated really is 'out of this world. I think that the moon with the partial eclipse is far more effective than a normal full moon which would draw the eye.
Although I have visited Utah on several occasions I have not knowingly seen this magnificent landscape despite passing through Hanksville.

31 Nov 24 Comment Ian - congratulations on your appointment as photographer to the dance team!
Your image certainly captures the essence of the dance group and you have caught a great arrangement of the dancers.
Overall the image is a little flat and would be improved by further adjustments in terms of contrast, brightness and in pulling out some detail in the shadow areas of the costumes which are blocked up. Difficult capture conditions I know, but I think the image has more to give.

31 Nov 24 Comment John - an interesting abstract image brought to life by the inclusion of the bird. I feel that the image would be strengthened by a crop from the top leaving the bird on the upper third. Great tonality in the water and the reflection - very well seen image. Nov 10th
