Ella - a valiant attempt at a low key still life image which does not quite gel with me. I find the interaction between the glasses arms and the shadows very confusing. Not for me I'm afaid (: |

Susan - The sea stacks off the Oregon coast have always fascinated me although I never managed to visit - a planned workshop to that location was cancelled.
I do like the simplicity of your composition and the long exposure adds dynamism to the image. The reflection in the tidal pool is so important in the image. Well seen and well executed. |

Nick - a location I know well having visited Reynisfjara Beach on two occasions. Nature has provided the ideal composition with the surf line leading the eye towards the Vik sea stacks and the volcanic plug provides a point of interest in the black sand beach.
When I was there in Feb 2016 the sea was higher with good waves a I chose a tighter composition - see below FYI |

Ian - you have captured the swan mascot to perfection! The detail in the swan is spot on and the natural lighting very much in your favour. The dark background is just perfect for this image.
However I feel that the use of a deeper aperture would have been beneficial - I feel that the softness of the radiator cap is somewhat distracting as it is a large part of the image. |

John - that is some anchor! Well seen and I particularly like the symmetry of the background. An amazingly clean scan with a good tonal range. In croping a little more space - if available, to the left of the anchor would br beneficial IMO. |
